The Greater Attleboro Council for Children and Portia Planning and Wealth Management have once again partnered together to participate in the Ameriprise National Day of Service. Last year, the drive thru food drive help to provide lunches for children in Attleboro, North Attleboro, and Plainville. Thanks to the community’s generosity,4500 servings of food were collected in ONE day!
This year, we will support 2 local groups who provide food to the community.
Kids Summer Café, a program through the Attleboro Area Interfaith Collaborative Food n’ Friends program. This program focuses on feeding children through the summer, in a grab and go style lunch on playgrounds.
Plainville’s Living Bread Food Pantry which provides food to the residents of Plainville.
This year we are adding personal care items to The Pride Pantry, to provide much needed personal care products through Attleboro High School.
There is a ONE day only “parking lot” drop off to support these programs. When you arrive, please have the donation in your trunk, pop it open for us, we will remove the items, and you can drive away.
